a picture of Sirius, thinking exactly that!

So I think I got over ten comments on deviantArt - it says 34 comments but so many of those are replies. Does this demand another drawing, like I said I'd do?

From the prequel I am not illustrating. Just the linework before I wrecked it with watercolours.
I hate watercolours. I hate them hate them hate them. Somebody please tell me I don't need to be able to use them to be a proper illustrator. Grrr.

Yay, I just spent all day finishing off this pic of Harry's mum (and others):

You know, about the length of Harry's hair at this stage in the book: Fleur gave them all a haircut while they were at Shell Cottage. JKR didn't write this, but it's true.
Also: I just found out my favourite composer, Benjamin Britten, lived in the small Suffolk village of Snape. In Crabbe Street. Seriously. (And I just went onto snapevillage.co.uk and they actually mention Professor Snape and Harry Potter. That's how famous Snape is. Personally, I think they should open an Olde Englishe Inn there called 'The Potions Master'.)

Late night picspam. I just don't want to go to bed because I'm afraid I will forget to breathe. Anyway, I have been getting out the watercolours again, which I do about once a year only to give up again after a week or two. And behold!
Albus and Gellert all gay and merry a long long time ago:

An original Order of the Phoenix meeting (they used to be grand piss-ups, until things got serious):

And here's something that is somewhat nicerlier executed, in colour rather than monochrome - Draco Malfoy worried about his future hairline:

Okay, I just made cruel and derisory remarks about Draco's hairline and the original Order of the Phoenix. But whatever idiotic words I may utter, the pictures are all serious really and nought but humble and unworthy tokens of my adoration for J K Rowling's wonderful series.
*
EDIT: I got a letter from my father today, in which he commented on the new picture of Draco. He's actually reading Harry Potter now because of my pictures which is really sweet (but he's enjoying them a lot). Here's something he said about the character, anyway, which made me laugh: "I shall get to HP 4 before long, so presumably Draco Malfoy's fate lies some time in the future, but I am expecting him to come to a sticky end sometime before the end of the series, unless Harry's good heart lets him off. I could do without that Goyle and the other character, whatever his name is." *squee*

WHOA SORRY I'M DOING A GRAND EDIT OF MY LJ SO THE NICE PIC IS HERE.
Merry Xmas/Yule/whatever everyone! And a big hug to everyone who helped make this year suck less for me. On LJ that's most especially
sound_of_vision *humungous hug* but there are many other non-LJ users who will probably never read this, but I love you all.
Re: this piccy - yep I did one and a half versions and photoshopped them, and always meant to do a mouse-hover thingy so you'd only see the wizard version if you were clever enough to put your cursor on the picture... but alas, fate would not have it. Anyway, the above image is the muggle version, which is a clicky to the wizard version on deviantArt. Hope you like it!
I am without internet connection now and nomadic and without an address or anything, so I'm really sorry I shall not be around much to comment on other people's LJs, wish you all a merry Yule, and check to see how many other fanartists had this idea. So I hope you all have a brilliant New Year and I hope to be online sometime again... *sigh* how one gets used to these things. Anyway -
glockgal - it was great meeting you and I hope to see you again sometime in 2008...
