There was more I wanted to write about this, but I've forgotten it all now. Writing up this post has completely done my brain in - I concussed it for the 2nd time on Saturday and have to wear one of those sexy collar things and shouldn't even be at the computer at all. I think I got all the appropriate links up.

Late night picspam. I just don't want to go to bed because I'm afraid I will forget to breathe. Anyway, I have been getting out the watercolours again, which I do about once a year only to give up again after a week or two. And behold!

Okay, I just made cruel and derisory remarks about Draco's hairline and the original Order of the Phoenix. But whatever idiotic words I may utter, the pictures are all serious really and nought but humble and unworthy tokens of my adoration for J K Rowling's wonderful series.

EDIT: I got a letter from my father today, in which he commented on the new picture of Draco. He's actually reading Harry Potter now because of my pictures which is really sweet (but he's enjoying them a lot). Here's something he said about the character, anyway, which made me laugh: "I shall get to HP 4 before long, so presumably Draco Malfoy's fate lies some time in the future, but I am expecting him to come to a sticky end sometime before the end of the series, unless Harry's good heart lets him off. I could do without that Goyle and the other character, whatever his name is." *squee*

I think this reveals more about my character than I intended... (esp. about my slothfulness re: colouring.) What the heck, it's 3:00 a.m. And at least I remembered all the stuff that goes on the reconstructed diadem of Ravenclaw. So much fun!

I wanted to do a lame pun in the title about 'All Hallows', but now it's so far past Hallowe'en that there's not much point. Small wonder, considering I only had the idea for this entry on October 29th, when I was in the middle of packing up and getting rid of most of my worldly possessions and moving from what used to the be one edge of what is generally termed 'The West' to pretty much the other end. EDIT: Oh yeah, and can I take this moment to be completely anal and congratulate JKR on getting the German right in DH. She even had the dots over the a in 'Doppelgänger'.  So many published authors - even Booker Prize nominated authors *cough* get this stuff wrong, mixing up ei and ie or articles and such. I must add though that this happens in every language: the mangling of English spelling and grammar over here is quite awful too. Yeah, I'm anal, I know.

First of all a big *SMOOCH* for my super-pimp sound_of_vision  who deserves to get a monstrously cool Über Pimp Cane for her forthcoming birthday, oh yes.

I'm not really able to post anything coherent due to the fact that in about ten and a half hours I shall... probably NOT have a copy of Deathly Hallows but at least be queuing for one.

BUT

Last night I tried to finish this damn picture which has been hanging around since before Christmas, asking to be finished. I wanted it done before the OotP movie came out, but no, I was inexplicably doing something else. But I had to get it out before the release of the last book, due to several things on it, like the locket and the expression on Snape's face.
